When using a temporal thermometer to take a babies/toddlers temperature, do you add a degree to get the correct body temperature (like you do with an under the arm thermometer)?
I know that when you do a rectal reading, I would not add a degree. However, I know under the arm you do (at least for babies). So I wanted to know what to do when taking the temp using a temporal thermometer.
